Brief Description: Wing rib flange fluting and straightening
Today I straightened all the wing rib flanges and fluted the rib flanges to straighten the rib web from the rib forming process. Then I assembled the left wing skeleton and match drilled the rib to spar attaching holes. Image 1 shows all the ribs between the spars clecoed on. Image 2 is a photo down the rib lightening holes, everything was well aligned.Particular attention needs to be paid to which direction the wing rib flanges face and what part number goes in which position. The plans need to be reviewed carefully for details.
